You're the annoying "I only drink craft beers!" guy of caffeine.
No, this is NOT like the green, and thankfully so. I find the green like syrup, terribly thick, sweet, and not pleasant. This is coming from someone who is overweight, and not afraid to overindulge on sweetness, etc. The blue, especially this and the blue ultra zero is very good, as long as you are good with a slight sugarfree aftertaste, like all the diet drinks have to one degree or another.
If you're using these routinely, consider going to a generic brand like Aldi sells. Aldi has 2 lines of energy drinks - Gridlock (which is styled very similar to Monster) and Red Thunder which is a Red Bull knockoff. For comparison, each of the 3 Gridlock cans are 16 oz ("regular" is basically regular Monster then they have a White and Low Carb flavors which I believe are both low sugar) for $1.09/ea. Their Red Thunder is 4 x 8.4 oz for $5.49, both the sugar and sugar free. They even have a 5 hour energy knockoff which is $1.09/2 oz.

Even the Monster Lo Carb on deal here is $1.17/can, whereas the Aldi version is $1.09 every day.

Just a thought to save some people $$.

I'm wondering the same thing. I found online "[,,,] the taste is almost the same as the regular Monster: a little bit of raspberry and apple, and a strong flavor of grape and citrus, way lighter than the original[...]"

Would appreciate more feedback from anyone who can compare to original green monster.

Thanks!

It's as close to the original flavor with a substantially less amount of sugar. I stopped drinking sugary drinks years ago and I missed the original flavor so this is my go to for that same flavor with less sugar.

Keep in mind its NOT identical flavor so as long as your expectations are set then you'll enjoy this.

Nice, these are my go to . Been paying 2 for $5 at the gas station near my work at least once or twice a week. This will hold me over for a few weeks lol.

Energy drinks and coffee do nothing for me but i do like the taste of these oddly enough.

For anyone hooked on the blue can Zero Sugar like me, Amazon finally brought it back down to a semi-reasonable price $36.99

I prefer White, but would take light blue over original green. The taste of the blue is definitely lighter and closer to white, so if you're looking for the bite of original green this is not it.

That's what I've found. Once used on a different flavor you won't see a Monster coupon again until at least the next month.

Can't compare as I only drink these anymore, but I really enjoy the flavor and prefer it to any other Monster I've had.
