I'm probably a little more than halfway through this on PS5 and I'm loving it. It's probably the best Star Wars game in 20 years. It basically addresses all the major complaints from the first game (Jedi: Fallen Order) and expands so much on it. For example, added fast travel, mounts, more open world / less linear, vastly more customization than just ponchos now, more combat styles (single blade, double blade, two sabers, blaster & saber, crossguard like kylo), etc.
On PS5, the performance isn't perfect, but the issues are basically just occasional frame drop and stuttering. There's a patch for it tomorrow, so we'll see how much they help. Otherwise, that's pretty much going to be their focus for the next month of patches. Either way, it's still very playable and very fun.
So I'd recommend this to anyone who this type of game might appeal to unless you are a huge stickler for frame drop and stuttering. If you are, then just pick it up around a Black Friday sale and enjoy it then.
Damn Baby Yoda's complaining about performance issues. None of them lived through the N64 era. Back in my day. Zelda ran at 20 frames per second and we liked it.
PS5 has issues - I have run into two different progression breaking bugs, where the only option is to start from last save. The issues did not repeat after reaching the same spot after restart. Still annoying. I wont go into detail on what broke for spoiler sake. That being said, still a very fun game.
Target is also giving a $10 gift card with a purchase of this game. As far as patches go I believe they're suppose to release another large patch today.
Game has horrendous performance issues, might as well wait for patches and a lower price in the future
The bugs are more concerning to me than the bad performance. By the time this is patched up correctly it will probably be free on EA Play. I'll wait for that.

Game is great, I'm loving it and would agree with others, best in a long time. KOTR still king but this might be number two for me.
Improved in all ways over fallen order, feels much slicker with tons of quality of life improvements over the last.
