in a market for a new balance transfer card, it's between the chase slate and the wells fargo reflect card. curious to know which one would give me a high credit limit tho.
Probably too late. But for me, Wells gave me double the credit limit.

This is a good card for 0% APR on purchases due to the relatively lengthy 21 month duration of the offer, but it's not as good for balance transfers due to the 5% balance transfer fee.

Navy Federal Credit Union Platinum Credit Card will give you 0% balance transfer fee and only 0.99% APR for 12 months.

I'm seeing US Bank Visa Platinum card reviewed as 3% balance transfer fee and 0% APR for 18 months, however it looks like they may have updated the terms to exactly match the Wells Fargo card. Either way it's an alternative to consider.

For specific purchases you may want to check if any of your current cards will offer you 0% promotions. For example I found that my Chase card offered me 24 months 0% APR with no fees on a recent large purchase.

Us bank is crap. Bunch of branch closes

Ok but you don't need to use branches to take advantage of their credit cards. Sure, they want you to establish a relationship with the bank, but we are just here to game them. I have zero loyalty to the banks whose products I use to maximize my own dollars.

I have their Cash+ card which I've been using for years to get 5% cash back on all my utility and cell phone bills. I have never been in a branch.

Wells Fargo is a terrible place to do business with. I'm not wealthy, but they took my account from 160,000 to 140000 in two months with their intuitive investor and all of their fees. They made me late on bills multiple times by lying about when transfers would happen, what fees would be waived, etc and then locked me out of my account for over two months because of their own error costing me another 3000$ because I couldn't see my positions or make trades.

No thank you. Fu©k Wells Fargo.

I have one card from them and I'd say the limit is relatively high, but beat by all my amex cards and one of my citi cards.

Weird, I have the opposite experience. I have 4 credit cards (including WF). My AmEx limit is more than 8x what the other 3 are combined. They keep raising my AmEx limit without even asking. It's literally almost what my annual income is, and I have no idea why you'd even want a limit that high on a credit card.

I've got about 20k in charges coming up in next few months. This will help tremendously. Thanks OP. Got approved for 15k right away. So far WF has been good to me. There rewards card helped me build a ton of $ quickly.

How does the 0% no interest work do you just make the minimum payment to not accumulate interest?

Yep. Exactly. Just pay your minimum balance for 21mo. Just be careful, it's easy to just charge a ton and then at the end of the 21 not be able to pay off the balance.

The 5% transfer fee is nothing compared to the 20% or more interest fee on most cards. My wife is paying $200/mo interest her Citibank card. I plan on transferring it to this card which is essentially costing me two months of interest.

I don't disagree, I just wanted to point out that there are other options out there for balance transfers. USBank appeared to be matching the offer when I wrote this, and Navy Federal Credit Union could save 80% of the total fees and interest compared to this offer if you qualify to join and if you were to pay off the debt in 1 year or less.
