The collapsible one saves space, and is great for things like camping, washing parts in the shed, holding plants from the aquarium, etc.
I would never buy a rigid one, especially not for more money.

That's a good one. I'm considering using this to wash my little dogs. They will put their paws on the tops which means it won't work for the collapsible ones.

I have a huuuuge single basin sink, so when I hand wash dishes I use some sort of container to wash the dishes in and rinse outside of it. Wouldn't exactly need anything so specific though. Any large container works for me, like my Rubbermaid container I use for sous vide.
