Thanks to community member PurpleTree8225 for finding this deal.

About this item:
  • The additional toppings of shiitake mushroom slices, carrots, and scallions add some welcome bits of texture as you eat. The shiitake mushrooms in particular give nice meat-like textures.
  • If you're afraid of the heat you can use a little less of the soup powder packet. It will take the edge off a little but you'll still get to enjoy a warm, savory, rich spiced broth.

You gonna correct a hyung like that on slickdeals? really? for a non issue? SHAME ON ME?

I said Ramen for the non-korean folk. You think they know what Ramyeon is?

Who calls the original/regular the "square version"?
LOL

Ramen police
It's cup ramen quality. Still good. Just different. I'm korean btw.

I'm actually sick of the square ones and would rather eat this version right now. I ate the square one all my life. Every fckin week.

The bowls like this are lower quality than the square shaped other variety, right?

I enjoy the bowls -- it might just be the ease of use?

When price is comparable, I always go for the bowls -- I don't know if there's actually any difference, but these are good.

These are not like the packaged ones. The noodles are much thinner, and to me, they're just not as good as the packaged noodles because the noodles get soggier a lot faster. These are easier to cook since you can microwave it.

I've heard that "shin black" is much less spicy? But I've never tried it. I have a good tolerence for spice, but these never seemed too spicy for me -- they're not like the 2x or 4x spicy ones that push for your mouth to burn, it's more of a Sriracha type of spicy (which I guess some people do find very spicy also!)

much much lower quality... About the same as those cup noodle quality. Very thin noodles get soft within minutes.

Packaged ones are much much better

Can confirm, Shin Black is less spicy, but I wouldn't call it "mild".

Also, these have been this price at Walmart for at least a month.

"Shin" means "spicy", so no.
