To be fair, USB A ports are still very common. Even as USB C is adopted more broadly. For any device that doesn't need more than 10 W, the norm seems to be including a USB A to C cable.
But I agree. Just one USB C port makes this deal nothing special. The only sliver lining is that it's from Anker. I know people on SD are divided on the brand. But with the low barrier of entry on Amazon, they are one of the better ones.
Side note, the version of this with a 5 ft cable[amazon.com] is also $15, but with a 5% off coupon as well. I do recommend this device for traveling if space isn't tight. Both extension cables and a surplus of charging ports come in handy on vacation.
Pass. Would be better if i was dual usb-c. Its been years since i have needed an old usb-a port. I wonder if this is just to get rid of inventory for an updated version.

If I plug charger cables into all three port but only use 1 port to charge at a time. Do I get maximum wattage out of that port or it get share through all three port even other cables aren't being use?

I couldn't get the link to work from the SD app on iPhone, but was able to search and find this. I already have one and really like it, so grabbing another w/ the extension for another room. Thanks for sharing!
Would this work well on an airplane to power a few devices off of one plug?
I find the under the seat plugs to be rather loose and can't support a larger device like this. I have to pack my smallest charger whenever I fly if I want to use that plug. Could be United planes only though, so YMMV.

It looks like it would be good for the plugs in my EVs though! I will keep an eye on them and see if they update for more USB-C or just a little cheaper.
A note on this, if you're using the USB-C for one device like a HomePod mini and then plug another device into a USB-A port, the USB-C port will power cycle. This has been this case with 3 units back to back to back.
TL;DR either only use USB-A or C but not both at once - unless you are ok with devices losing power briefly.

Don't see the 5% off coupon. Is it account specific ?
This is usually around this price, since there's almost always a coupon for it to reduce it to $15. If this was the 30W version, then it'd be a good deal.

Maybe I'm the old timer but I don't know how you could go "years" without using USB-A when C ports still aren't ubiquitous.
