Can I downgrade a BofA Alaskan Airlines credit business credit card to this when the next annual fee posts?

I have this card and really like it. I got it at the beginning of the year and they did give the $200 credit when I met the $1000 spent.

I was doing some home improvements and I switched the 3% to the (home improvement) category when buying at home Depot and IKEA. I then switched back to gas 3% when done.

It's treated me well so far.

WORST credit card company I have ever dealt with.

- Refused to give proper rewards. BoA was recently fined $100 million on this by CFPB. They have not changed.

- As someone else commented, they do not care if you complain to CFPB, it's like the $100 million was a joke to them, probably because it is.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Same. Had this card and about $300 in reward dollars. BOA closed the account and kept the reward money because the account was inactive during the pandemic. F BOA.

I've also had this card for several years, except mine is a World Mastercard, not a Visa Signature like they're offering now. I haven't had any problems with it. And I always pay off my balance online on time.

One thing I'm not sure about is whether or not old cards get grandfathered into the enhanced categories, like the 2% back at grocery stores and wholesale clubs, etc. Does anyone know?

I got this card for more than 12 years and it was updated a couple times. I think it was originally called cash rewards card without any categories. It was a drawer card and my wife's got cancelled due to inactivity. Back then we did not care but now I am thinking about getting a new one for her as we maxed out the 2.5k limit every quarter.

Has the price protection benefit?

Anyone know of Visa cards with Price protection(match) benefit?

I've had this card for a long time, be warned that account support on them are a complete disaster. I still use it often for the cash back, but for anything with a sketchy merchant or any reasonably important purchase, I use a different card. Every dispute I've done with bofa has been denied after 60 - 75 days with no explanation. Once my card was stolen and used a few states away - even that dispute was denied.

Never had an issue with a dispute and I'm about 20yrs with them. Using a bunch of 0% cash back cards throughout the time. I get asked if I contacted merchant first, they contact for me if issue occurs, and I always got my refund.

This card is available on the consumer side but they do offer a similar card on the business side. It has different reward categories. The bonus on the business card is $300.

good for you.
CS still couldn't tell me why I am not able to do billpay or get stmts.
I have this card, I can't bill pay but I just transfer the money from one account to the card as if it's just another bank account.

Update, I can go to bill pay in BofA and add the card as just another bill pay if I wanted to pay it like that. And then I was able to sign up for ebills (online statements.)

Chase sucks, Wells Fargo sucks, BofA sucks in my opinion a little less than the other two.

This is a good card. 0% apr for 15 months. Great arbitrage with 5% savings accounts now. The $200 and cash back categories are a nice bonus. Capital One denied me for the Quicksilver card, even though I have the Venture X. This card is basically the same.
No, it's not. There's a 3% fee. Taxes on your savings account will eat away at the earned interest. Not worth the effort.
