Well, don't know what to tell you. BofA is my bank, and I've been silver level for the past ten years. Lost it earlier this year due to some high expenses. And it's total across all accounts not including business accounts.
Yeah online category covers amazon and Costco.com
US Bank has one that has 2 5% categories you can pick each quarter from a list (but they're narrower) with I think a 2k/quarter 5% cap

Citi custom cash is 5% across much broader categories and you "pick" which is 5% based on which you spend the most on that month... ($500 spend cap each month for the 5%)

You mean 5% on the uninvested cash?
Thanks for buying this. I thought this was standard across all banks and never questioned it. BofA screwed me with this several times and I never questioned it. Not a lot of money but it does add up.
Depending on the card company, 6-12 months is the dormancy period for cancelling an inactive card... ALWAYS use a card in a less than 6 month time, even if for just a candy bar or some $1+ online transaction at least once to keep them from closing it.
And dude, unless it's good for something besides cash back or a statement credit, always cash it in periodically so the bank doesn't steal it for dormancy or some other technicality... Unless it's worth more with time or you can get a really good deal on something by letting it ride, cash it out!
Most items cost more with "points" than cash does, so cash it out and use it to buy directly... Maybe even at a discounted price, like at Walmart.
