Take it from this experienced Slickdealer - the real value in detergent is actually getting a potent, higher end detergent that you need to use very little of. Persil ProClean cleans large loads with like 1.5 tablespoons worth of detergent, it's so enzymatically dense. I used to get cheap stuff and there is no comparison. Once I factor in cost per load there isn't really a price difference either since you need to use so much more of cheap detergents. With that said, I respect people who need dirt cheap detergent right now, totally understand.

Also, regardless of what brand you use, they say the best laundry pre-treatment is detergent itself, so I tend to avoid pods since the liquid serves the dual purpose, but that is a minor point.
this triggered my deal alert for oxycodone

That's why it's a good idea to have more than one Amazon account.

Last time I bought a washer, Consumer Reports only listed one washer that actually cleaned clothes. I got it. It works great and has held up well. I use pods and my clothes look and smell great, but I no longer have kids coming home with grass and @ss stains on their clothes, so it's hard to say how well my washer and detergent are doing. For me, these pods are just fine and, as you observed, inexpensive.

$4.19 for me - great deal, OP. Also, while pods, in general, don't perform as well as just normal liquid laundry detergent and Arm & Hammer is only about mid-pack (according to CR) - these T laundry pods are a great option for taking with you on vacation. If you get an Airbnb or beach house (with washer and dryer, ofc) then these are great ultra-portable options vs dragging along a large bottle of liquid detergent.

So? What washer was it in case mine goes lol? I love persil and tide hygienic and that usually all I buy, but I have a house full of teens and bf who do their own laundry and use a huge amount, I mean HUGE no matter how many times they are told you don't need that much !! They are lazy however and will grab these pods over my liquid so I'm in. Bf will only use persil , but he helps pay the bills so it's a wash do to speak

Every ABnB I've stayed in with a washer and dryer has always provided detergent.

Well, that's not going to be the case every time. Also, I did stay at a nice Airbnb that had a used bag of Gain pods, but there was only one or two left.
