How is this compared to the Flexvolt cordless version for $250?

This rarely goes on sale. Sometimes for $400 you get a metal stand and very rarely you get a wheeled stand. I don't think the stands are worth $100 so this is a very hot deal.

Looks like from Slickdeal's Deal History - this used to be $269.95. Will wait to see if this will head back down to that price.

How is it compared to Skil Table Saw that comes with a stand?

If I had to buy one today, I would likely choose the skil just because it comes with legs that fold up, has a slightly bigger rip capacity, slightly bigger cut capacity [10 inch blade vs 8 1/4 dewalt). You really can't go wrong with either one. With either one you buy, I would upgrade the blade to a diablo or similar quality blade with a THIN KERF. The thin kerf helps these underpowered saws perform better by taking a thinner bite.

For saw blades, Use around 24-30T for ripping. 40T for combination rip and crosscut. 48T for crosscut. The more teeth, the slower the cut with higher cut quality. Less teeth -faster cut with decreased cut quality.

Recently there was an Amazon deal with the metal stand with wheels, and it is so worth it. Normally for a miter saw the best deal is a rigid stand and it cost about $120 when I got it before inflation but now I think cost around $130 or so on sale, the stand for this saw just makes moving it around a joy which causes me to want to use it more often than not. If you are gonna build a dedicated table for it or something then obviously no stand needed, but if you plan to use it and move it around go for the version with a stand and wheels.
