No this is not hackable.

Comes with the fancy new 2.5ah battery that supposedly doesn't have the housing issues that causes the battery to start falling out after extensive use.

I don't think any chargers are included. I could be wrong. But if you have any Milwaukee tool you already have a charger for this

So tempting but I do not do enough greasing to justify the purchase of this grease gun. The people that can justify this purchase probably already own the M18 version..... 🤷

I'm in the middle. Own a tractor, trailer and atv with fittings. Middle of the road user. Considering options.

Why are a lot of the reviews talking about a ratchet? Is Home Depot turning into Amazon with switching reviews around for different products?

The M12 is perfect for everything except the largest heavy equipment. It turns greasing into a one handed operation.

This was on sale bundled with a ratchet. Your average middle age mechanic isn't very computer savvy, and they sometimes leave the review on the wrong item.

Good deal, not a tool I use nearly enough to justify a buy for me (and I have a stubby and a surge impact on the way already). I'm liking the 2.5 batteries so far as well.

I have this with many other Milwaukee tools. This unit does not push grease through stubborn zirks which is why I bought it. The 18v versions exert 10,000 psi which is 20% more than this unit. I would invest in that instead.

Thanks OP. Need this for heavy construction equipment so it looks like I gotta wait for the 18v.

Same, I don't even have a normal grease gun but for some reason this is tempting - a bit like the PEX tool - "I don't have a need for it now, but might someday!"

PS: This seems expired. Price is $169 now.. also shows OOS

Expansion pex tool is what got me into m12 and it just snowballed from there

It's been a while now - 7+ years I guess, but my first entry was probably the hammer drill + impact set like most people haha
