As a dermatologist myself, I can attest that this is a solid product, especially at this price. The active ingredient (Zinc pyrithionine 1%) is commonly used for seborrheic dermatitis (aka "dandruff"/cradle cap in infants). Consistency is the key with any of the products marketed for dandruff, but the active ingredient is found in the majority of Heads&Shoulders line as well and those are often much more expensive. Lather and let soak for 3-5minutes 2-3x week (may alternate with other products you have if desired). Selenium sulfide and ketoconazole 1% (aka Nizoral) are other efficacious products. All that being said, this is a great deal at a great price for something that should be helpful .

I just use what the wife and kids use, which is usually herbal essence. Recently Herb ess has jumped to $10/bottle.
I grabbed a few of these for me to use instead thier liquid gold.

*we have used this shampoo before and it's really good.

Had dandruff for most of my life and nothing ever cured it even prescription a real head scratcher (haha dad joke) but this stuff took care of it and it's great.
