That's odd.... three? "Why three? " you ask. Because of Logitech's absolutely abysmal reliability. There is a very well know issue with this mouse's clicker switches. Search google for "mx vertical drag" or "mx vertical microswitch". There's actually a mini-industry of people providing the service of replacing this (and others, as well) mouse's switches once they inevitably fail.
But it's still my all time favorite mouse. I finally had to draw a line and stop buying them on principle. I'm currently using their other vertical mouse, the "Lift". It's ok. The vertical MX Vertical was much, much more comfortable for me with my big hands. Oh well.
If you do buy this, get the amazon extended warranty. I promise you that YOU WILL USE IT. Fair warning provided....

Second this... I have been using this for the last 10 years and its really a game changer. The M575 and then I upgraded upto MX Ergo Advanced Wireless Trackball recently.

Alternatively, Logitech lift is a good vertical mouse (bit smaller size). That's $48 refurb on Amazon or $70 new

On my gaming PC I use a G604 Lightspeed which has been a good mouse, but the Logitech software is just awful, doing stupid things like keeping a whole CPU core pegged at 100% while sitting in the background doing nothing, and so I live with reduced functionality without the software.
