My kid is obsessed with garbage trucks and all other large loud machinery you can drive.

cool truck. My kid just turned 5 and has been playing with legos for a while now but we got one technics set and the pieces were just too small and hard for him to do much of it.

Every kid is different but I would skip this for a younger kid unless an adult plans to build it or they've done technics before.

Mine three. He smashes his lego cars to pieces, calls an excavator to load the bricks on a dump truck and dump them on Thomas train, airlift one figurine on helicopter and another in an ambulance. The fire truck comes to put out the "fire" and the police car comes to arrest the "bad guy"… literally "everything everywhere all at once" on the living room floor and bedroom… 🤦 ♂️ but they are so adorable I cant even be mad 😂

Well yeah, that's why the age level for this is 8. The instructions and pieces would be too much for a 5 year old.
