Any idea if it's the same with the Ryobi one?

I used hundreds of 2 and 2 1/2 inch dewalt nails with ryobi brad and frame nailer. Never had any problems.

I use DeWalt nails exclusively in my Ryobi 18-volt nailer with no issues.

I guess main issue was jamming but from my experience with my M18 it depends on softness of the metal of nails, it shoots Bostitch and Porter ones just fine but got Maite brand on Amazon for cheap and get a lot of misfires due to head getting sheared off to the side and even when taking them out metal feels flimsier too. It shoots 304 and 316SS ones the best so far. Don't remember using Dewalt ones to comment though.

DeWalt brad nails don't have any special trademarked features.

I had issues in my Milwaukee brad nailer, too. Just non-stop jams every couple nails. So irritating I went and bought another brand and had no issues since. I know I've used the Grip Rite nails without issues. I think I also have some Porter Cable nails that worked fine. There's just something about the DeWalt ones with this nailer.
