It effectively amplifies the cleaning power, but does so over a smaller area. You can make a smaller unit clean like a much more expensive one, but it will take longer all else equal.
* Reminder to all using pressure washers...ALWAYS purge air out of the system (run water through will off until no air comes out) before powering on. Many forget to, and it can rapidly ruin the pump.

I am also eyeing the $350 Greenworks electric pressure washer that is on sale at Costco at the moment. I have 4x Greenworks batteries already so that's not a concern.
Storage space and the additional cost are concerns.

This is really for "washing" things rather than cleaning or stripping. I got one because it's the perfect size and pressure to have for doing the cars (with a foam cannon, soft brush, & rinse) or a quick-clean of the concrete patio.
