Not sure if this is the same product but the lowes in durham NC had a craftsman trimmer on clearance for about $45. There were 5 or 6 still in stock. They also had a kobalt brushless impact wrench on sale for $50 which I would have picked up if I was in that battery system

Also for those looking to get craftsman tools they have this for $200:

I'm not heavily invested in craftsman, but I did need a weedwhacker and for $99 with a battery and a free tool (i got the jigsaw) it was a no brainer.

Pleasantly surprised with both the weedwhacker and the jigsaw. This seems like a great deal.

This or very similar is $69 at my Lowe's.
10 inch string trimmer/weedwacker.
2amp battery (the charger it comes with is trash)

And don't forget to check with your utility companies for rebates on electric garden tools.
I netted this set at $44 after rebates (jigsaw was my free tool)
