These are all Windows 11 Home. If you need Windows 11 Pro, you need to pay for the upgrade or buy direct from Lenovo. The Lenovo web store has the Windows 11 Pro version.

e.g. the 4060 model is the 83DN0007US model, the only difference between this model and the 83DN0008US model on the Lenovo site is the 83DN0007US model has Windows 11 Home and the 83DN0008US has Windows 11 Pro.

Would this be a better choice than the legion with 14900hx and 4070 at a very similar price.
I'm looking for good processing but at the same time also want some battery life...

This is a hard sell when last year refurb going for 800-850. Same mini-led screen, size, weight, keyboard. Sure this gen has better battery life, but for a slickdeal the refurbs are the way to go.

But it was only available at that price for short time. Refurbs on eBay are all well over $1k currently. Also those come with a 4050 and the 4060 on this is a significant step up if you want to do any gaming.

I was considering this or a Legion, and I went with the Yoga Pro. The Mini-LED, battery life, and other features made it a better compromise between gaming and productivity laptop for me.
