The smart plugs have worked great for me over the past few years with no issues. I use them for scheduled on/off for the chintzy accent lights my wife thinks are cute around the house which nobody wants to wrestle with nightly.

These plugs are good, and may even have user-written drivers for local support with some home automation hubs. But they are not officially supported except via cloud dependence which is not an ideal situation.

I'm loving these Matter (over wi-fi) plugs that are currently $20.99 for a three pack. These can be locally controlled as well as cloud controlled.

Some of these items have an add'l. 10% off coupon on the page, like the outdoor dimmer and the motion switch. The 3-outlet strip doesn't have this offer, though.

Haven't checked the rest, but it looks like it works on one of each item that has it! (Not tried checkout yet.)
