$939 was for an OPEN BOX model. Cheapest I have seen it in NEW condition was $1,099 in July.

It was $1099 only once and other than that it's been $1299 or more. So this is the second lowest price, for new, so far.

QHD OLED is the reason. I have a G14 that's 500nits with LED, not the same as OLED. Wonderful screen, just not the best available.

I was hoping that they were going to drop back down to $1,100 during my states's tax free weekend but they didn't so now I'm waiting for them to get it down to $1,000 flat before I bite. I'm guessing end of Nov.

To the person concerned about the screen quality this thing is awesome. I have a newer Legion 7i Pro with a 500 nit IPS 1600p panel and this asus screen blows it out of the water. It's plenty bright and the colors really pop. Makes the non OLED panel seem kinda dull in comparison.
