LIKE this or actually this? If it's "like this", that should just be the card that you have that sucks, not all external wifi+bt cards themselves..

Some detailed info - there are a bunch of wifi+bluetooth cards that you can buy and they are almost all the same "physically", the antenna design and all of the other stuff impact the performance in a relatively minor way, at least for wifi. The big difference between one and the other is the actual chip that is inside. If you buy one that is Realtek or AMD, you will have a major issues (in my opinion). The only good chips on the market for reliable wifi and bluetooth are intel, which this model seems to have according to TP-Link - https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-n...ifications

That's the main difference between the cards, the actual brand (there's more nuance as I'm sure there are some Intel that sucks) of the chip that is inside the card. If you ever look into motherboard wifi/bluetooth, you'll see tons of people complaining about realtek and AMD wifi cards.

edit: bought a motherboard with a realtek wifi+bt chip in it. It sucked so I bought an Intel AX210 chip and just replaced it. Much better, even though they have the same specs on paper.

No, why would you buy this, the Intel version costs the same and is way better supported because all manufacturers test against it.

Are these cable companies accepting hundreds ofthousands of upgrades, Knowing full well they haven't updated a lot of our parents modems, like... Ever? The same modems most of them are hang 10 or 15 bucks 'a month' for?
I've pleaded my stubborn father to cut the cord until I just gave up. He's getting juiced for $339 a month. Him getting hacked is turning into like a bi-annual event

I have a card like this and the bluetooth drops out if you're any more than like 10 ft away.

Is this a known issue with this type of product or is it something specific to my setup?

You can take out the card and put in your previous system. I upgraded mine onboard wifi card by changing card only.

I have the Asus AX3000. My Bluetooth don't experience drops at 10 feet. However, it gets pretty choppy at 30 feet but reception recovers almost instantly when moving closer again. It could be brand/hardware dependent.

How? I don't see it initially nor at check-out. Is it a Chase promo?

Would the Bluetooth on this be stronger than what is on my MSI Tomahawk DDR5 motherboard? I don't care about the Wi-Fi since I'm using wired.

I have 2 of these cards, the WiFi is great, I can't get the Bluetooth to work at all in 2 different systems. Either the MFG drivers or intels drivers, windows refuses to recognize any bluetooth hardware installed.
