As always, these come with 90 day Best Buy warranty. If you are lucky enough, you might get some days left from the original Apple warranty.

Yeah disappointingly I missed that sale, but $299 isn't a good deal IMO, these were on sale new I think for $349 at the lowest.
$150 would be a good deal for used/refurbished. But since they are coming out with a new model around $200 new would be fair

From personal experience Best Buy refurbished is a nightmare, after 3 straight attempts and returns to buy and Apple Watch listed as excellent condition, where one was highly scratched, another part of the screen did not work, and another the band was heavily worn.

Unless it's apple.com, all refurbished Apple products should be considered 'used'. Might as well go on eBay and look around.

I have a feeling that deal was a big fat unicorn. I would maybe spend around this much or $250 if they would be "like new" or Apple refurbished

eBay isn't the best to look around on for AirPods since a large portion of listings are dupes and not genuine.

Agree! But with USB-C version FINALLY released, these will be on sale everywhere over next 6 months and beyond. 299 for refurb in 2024 for lightning cable is not a deal.

Mine crapped out after ten months and almost no usage. Stopped charging. Fortunately under original warranty so got a replacement. They're definitely not worth retail but at this price may be worth the gamble.
