Worst iron I've ever owned. In order to avoid leaking during steam production, you have to let it get up to temperature so that it can produce enough steam to not leak. But as soon as it's ready, it shuts off in a matter of seconds because it loses operating temperature due to the cooling down of the plates, from ironing or to prevent overheating. It's good for a sock iron.

I bought the ones they sell at Costco store (have steel plates). I am not sure if they have inventory in store throughout the year.

Honest question. Whats the difference? I don't have expensive clothes or suits. Just pants and shirts.

Came to comment the same thing. My past iron flaked and didn't slide well after a few years. The worst part is the non-stick would mark the clothes as it flaked, at times. Nothing permanent but resulted in a few on the day/night shirt substitutions.
For those asking for recommendation, I went with the PurSteam Steam Iron for Clothes 1700W with Self-Cleaning Nonstick Stainless Steel Soleplate, Auto Shutoff, Anti-Drip based on Internet research. Here is a link for it at Amazon: https://a.co/d/etdd12o.
