You don't stay motivated, you stay disciplined. I'm not motivated to brush my teeth, but I do it because it's good for me. Same with working out. Do it enough that's it's just part of your regular routine that you always do.
So.....is this a good deal or not?
If "not being fat" is your only motivation for working out, and you don't have the discipline to do it for other reasons, then no one can help you. You have to decide to want to do it.

How do you folks stay motivated to keep working out? Real question: After about a month, I get sick of the squats, pull-ups, and push-ups. I have a bench in the basement, deadlift bar, and 20 to 50 pound dumbbells. I just pass by it and say I will do it tomorrow and never do.

Are you following a program and do you log your workouts?

No, I used to just work out every day. If something got sore, I would just work the body that wasn't sore and repeat.

That's not enough because I'm not fat, now if my teeth got yellow, that would make me work harder on cleaning them. Since I never get fat what the point. I literally eat one time a day compared to working out eating up to four times to maintain the size.

That or to look ripped, why else would you go through all that pain?
I do want to look good - vanity is a perfectly good reason to work out. But there are health benefits beyond want you can see on the outside.

I've never been to the gym and never plan on it.
I've been also doing the calisthenics and dumbbell workouts, but I finally caved and recently got a leverage gym that can do cable workouts too. It's a night and day difference. Not the high quality one like PowerTec, but the one from Amazon. There are several budget models, so get the one that you can afford. Got a mix of bumper plates from Amazon and Walmart. Final cost was around $200 for pairs of 10, 15, 25, 35, and 45 lbs.

Like what, fighting cancer? You can't even name them. I know one, it is a natural high to work out. To bad that high wore off. Maintaining the protein levels needed every day is annoying and expensive!
How old are you? Benefits of bone density. Strength in older age. Ability to live 20 years younger than your age.

Seriously? Just google "health benefits from moderate exercise". It improves cardiovascular health, mental health, sleep cycle, etc. But it sounds like you've already made up your mind that you don't want to work out, so I don't know why I'm even bothering. Enjoy your life.
