I don't think anyone who has a basic understanding of english grammar would have interpreted his statement the way that you did.

Finally a decent deal on this Hx 365 ryzen variant. However everyone seems to be thinking the lunar lake version will be better. Should I hold off until that version is released to compare?

He said "these arm windows", which refers to the item in the post. Clearly the Ryzen chip isn't ARM.

Were these the ones that had cooling issues, or was it the Intel version? One of them was so thin that they tended to run quite hot.

They will be close enough to make no practical difference

The Zenbook line favors slim over cooling. You can read the Best Buy reviews and several people note they make good handwarmers. I'm already skeptical of Asus engineering, and kind decided, if anything, the Vivobook like is probably a better choice for me - better cooling in a slightly less sexy package. If you want to run any games, cooling is important. And if you aren't gaming (or heavy workstation loads), why not pick the ARM processor line for more better almost everything?

Not loosing anything by waiting. If anything prices will get better once competition hits.

The Intel might be better but I'm weary of the pricing of the 32gb variants since the ram is on chip. Hopefully we don't get price gauged

White with a white keyboard? Sexy, but high maintenance! At least you can't see fingerprints!

These sales on Asus Strix Point laptops is most likely due to the review embargo on Lunar Lake lifting tomorrow, and Asus's exclusivity with Strix Point ending in a week. Id wait, if at all possible, as the market for current gen chips should be more competitive shortly. Not to mention the price of Hawk Point laptops should start to lower.

There's several YouTube reviews of these chips out there. Very impressive and often very little power draw too
