Hopefully the 'River 3 Max' comes with a little higher wattage output and a bit lower price, but I guess I wouldn't count on it being much less than $300 or so.

Would say i am very happy in the sense, it is easy to lug back and forth to the car without being too heavy. Or back and forth around the house without being too heavy.
A higher wattage generator would be great of course, however, heavier.
Runs a 27 quart car refig abut 8-24 hours for frozen(depending on outside temps)
About 2 days refri. temps.

1 year later, still working fine.
holds about one grocery-store plastic bag of groceries.
medium big and medium bulky to carry around but not overwhelming. after say 40 yards it might be.
shopped for a whole year for a low priced car refrigerator but not a mini one. this was about $145 with coupons one day. got it.

The thing I like about rev 3 is the lower (river) models have lower switch over time so they can be used for UPS for non server and the Delta has software and monitoring just like a UPS (switch over < 10ms so server) so I think this will really start to go after the resting on your laurels UPS manufacturers which have raised prices with zero innovation in well over a decade and still cling to SLA. Of course this is rev 1 so i won't touch it for a few years on my server applications but in rev 2 for sure I would consider.
LFP prices are plummeting down 50% this year, so yes you could see a price for gen 3 to be lower than gen 2 with a little competition.
