At what point does it go from deal to normal pricing? I feel like we're almost there
I've been looking for a good entry point sale to get into the Ryobi ecosystem. This "deal" sounds like it really isn't much of a deal at all, huh? I'm guessing that I'm better off waiting until BF?
That's how SlickDeals makes money, by using referral links and tracking.

Which in a way I don't mind, because SD is free for users, and something has to pay for personnel and equipment.

18v or 40v?

Sucks having to reinvest in 40v if you don't have any, but I now own the 40v snow blower, leaf blower, weed eater, trimmer, chain saw, and mower.

You can get good deals from secondipity.com and tools direct when they have sales.

40v is a huge difference that 18v can't touch. Imo, it's worth it. But sucks to have to start over.

I'm all in 18v and don't plan on investing in the 40v at the moment . My old trimmer was a Dewalt and lasted me so long

this is normal everyday price "deal". HD does what everyone else does. Inflates prices then makes us believe we get "deals". Worthless trash. I thought HD offered the crappy 1gal vacuum that used to be $50 without battery/charger. It's a useless POS handheld.

Hey... that vac is pretty good, I have one and love it. It is extremely useful in a travel trailer and for the small corners in the house. That being said, I paid $20 for mine at DT and am happy with the purchase. These deals used to include better tools and more options as well as being two 4ah batteries and not a 2+4ah. Maybe black Friday will be better, but inflation is a biach. Another mystery I cannot solve is why 4 years ago could I get a 9ah battery, but today the biggest is 8? Where is the 12ah we were promised?

Look for their brushless straight shaft expand-it unit to go on sale, that's the best they have in 18v

Not for ryobi but dewalt has the same free tool deal and that one offers a saw option.
