We've had this for a few months now. Daily use by my kids. It stays pretty clean and cooks quite well. I genuinely like it. My only complaint is that I ALWAYS hit the power button to start cooking and it turns the fryer off. I cannot train my brain to hit the start button. I think we paid $40 for this back in April and, if you're looking for one, this is a good deal.

I see this style of air fryer and think of cool I can fit a bunch in here. Then I read reviews that say when you air fry stuff it "pops", that gets the elements dirty and there is no way to clean them. This is why I've stayed away from this style air fryer at this point.

I bought a Gourmia Air fryer 4 years ago. And man that thing is awesome. Still running great. It's a French door one. Love it. Use it every single day for variety of functions air fry, toast, bagel, pizza. Love it.

I had this air fryer and I really didn't like it. The screen is super small and letters as well. It would burn the food from the sides too.

Lol, I had the same issue with their bigger version of the toaster that I got last year … for some reason, my brain would glitch out and always hit that big circular button that looked like a target whenever I wanted it to "Go / Start". I actually printed a photo edit and made a little overlay to change that and other some icons that didn't show up well on the original. I stuck it on with clear matte contact paper that blends in just so it wouldn't annoy me. Before / after pics …

I've had 2 versions of this exact air fryer over the past 4 years and have purchased at least 5 more for other people as gifts - all are still working great. We took one to our cabin and the other is used daily. This is the most used appliance in my house (minus fridge). They may not be perfect, but they're useful af. As for the comment about things that drip onto the element, it's the same as it would be in any oven with exposed elements. Clean the elements when it cools and then bake it off. For $40, this item outperforms every other air fryer we've had, including the over priced crap from Pampered Chef.

Does it have a light inside that comes on while it's cooking?

Nah, no light. I've never thought it needed one though. You can see in it pretty well as is.

Agree, I bought it last week and no light really needed since you can see fine inside.
