Bought this vacuum last night and returned it because it's trash. Suction is bad unless you're on the strongest setting but then it only lasts a few minutes. The canister is really small and hard to open. Avoid this POS.

Dyson finally feeling the heat on prices. They've been overcharging 2x or 3x for way too long. Still I'd rather get a Samsung Jet 60 for less on sale.

Works great for Bernese mountain dogs. Not so good on thicker carpets.

Got this from Amazon for $250 last week. Works comparable to my V11 on medium pile carpet, and worked fine to vacuum out my lint trap on the dryer. The canister is small, probably 30-50% less capacity than my V11, and it's a little shorter but lighter weight is the trade off.

Note that only "slim" accessories work with these, so anything you have for older standard-size units is not compatible.

built quality(where canister closes) is not great either

Do you know if there are any other models that use the slim accessories? For example, the Dyson Omniglide (the one with the swiveling double headed broom for hard floors?
