Not a terrible deal, but it's 60 hz and you can get a tcl or hisense 75 inch for the same price right now.

yeah, kinda the same conclusion I'm coming to as well...and....for ~$120 more, you can get 4k 120hz tv's for about $500 now like the Vizo MQX 50in, 55in TCL QM7, or 55in Hisense U7. This late in "the game", I'm honestly not sure I wanna plop down very much of anything for only a 60hz tv. For a little more you can get a 4k 120hz if you care about it for gaming/future proofing some.

I'm either going to get a bottom dollar 55in 4k like a walmart TCL 4 series 55in for only ~$220, 58in Hisense r6 for $238, or swallow a bit higher cost than middle of the road 60hz tv's for a 4k 120hz. These more pricey 60hz only tv's, to me, are a pretty bad value preposition if you care about gaming/future proofing. If someone doesn't care, by all means, these a7's for being not the priciest in the world seem to be overall liked by their users, they say the picture/color are great, and low input lag for gaming.

What do you mean by "future proofing"?
