Just a FYI

The River 3 Plus and Max will be released very shortly

Expect prices for the River 2 lineup and their refurbs to drop rather significantly. River 2 Max refurbs will probably be $180'ish before end of the year
You know, instead of using solar panels to charge the battery then use a fan to dry your towels, you could, maybe use the sun to dry it...?
going on over a year with this model.
happy
beginner's model size to learn solar.
use it every day to charge many items ..with of course, free electricity.

also,
connected to this model, i have a small but powerful lasko room fan aimed an amazon clothes' drying rack.
put 3-4 wet towels, misc. items on it that came out of the washer.
1- 2 hours dried towels.
runs the powerful lasko room fan for 3 1/2 hours before the model gets near 0% and i have to solar charge the model again

electricity bill is down $60 a month not drying towels all the time

I own a half dozen portable power stations of various makes and models and this is my favorite one, mainly for one reason: It charges (Input) at a rate of 650 watts though a basic three prong heavy computer cord, no power adapter or special charging plug (household 110) These cords are everywhere from crock pots to roombas.

Going from 0 to 100% in less than an hour is so useful, I use this this guy to charge my other power stations.

solar works fine also, but it charges so fast stringing enough panels together to max it out has proven less common than getting a few minutes on an outlet. great for using with a small gas genny, run for 50 minutes and then use the half kilowatt as needed.

capacity is a little lite under 500w, but it keeps my laptop and lights going for a couple days. it's pretty lightweight also the built-in handles comfortable, a nice little added perk as are the multiple 110 plugs.
High recommend

Not questioning the use case, but 60/month from drying few towels warrants servicing or consider replacement, with Thanksgiving around the corner. Was able to get one from Costco for around 300 three years back

No. It has about 400ish watt hours. The smallest space heater I know of is those little desk heaters which do about 250 on the lowest setting (so 1.5 hours). Most real space heaters are 800-1400 watts, so a half hour or less run time with this. If you need emergency heat look at a propane buddy heater or a Chinese diesel heater.

Most likely not. Space heater is 1000-1500watt per hour. If you need to turn heater on for 3-4 hours, you will need power station that has at least 4000wh

3 USB-A and 1 USB-C plug, that's a hard pass for me. I am impressed by the specs though that say it has a 4-stroke engine that displaces cubic centimeters.
