F/W version of OpenWRT doesn't look promising with this.
https://www.gl-inet.com/support/f...-versions/

From openwrt's site, The current stable version series of OpenWrt is 19.07, with v19.07.10 being the latest release of the series. It was released on 20. April 2022.

Neat looking router, but I see support dropping. I wouldn't buy it as a long term solution. Nice cheap solution for short term.

From their website

"Please note that certain router models run on an older OpenWrt version due to restrictions with the SDK provided by our chipset manufacturer. To ensure your safety and security, we patch any security vulnerability found in such older OpenWrt version whenever used before releasing the firmware to our users"

understand the difference between OpenWrt and OpenWrt based on an SDK.

again, this device is currently not supported by OpenWrt.
