Costco has these on sale as well starting 11/20 for $13.49 for 16 bars, so this deal is better.

For some reason the last few batches of this I got at Costco smell intensely like dirt/a$z. Not sure why, I've been using this for years, but now I'm done.

No 15% off coupon for me. It just shows $1.30 off for the one time purchase and $1.30 off for the S&S. Price comes to $11.15.

Wonder why you got downvoted. You're absolutely right. They're always labeled "bath bar" or "beauty bar" or something, because they can't legally call it soap. Could probably count on one hand how many bars at your local Walmart are actually labeled "soap" on the packaging, and the ones that are (dr squash and dr bronners for example) are expensive as hell.

Years ago I started using those huge small company bars of actual soap that I buy from discount stores like Burlingtons or Ross, and my skin has been better for it. My lotion lasts longer too. I'm not even picky about the brand. Just has to smell good and be labeled "soap". Bonus points if triple milled. It's not even much costlier per ounce either. One $2-3 bar is like 8oz and lasts a single person over a month. They're more firm and don't wear down as quickly.

Only still buy these dove sensitive bars when on sale for the one person in the household with sensitive skin. And they get through two 3.75oz bars waaay faster than I get through 1 8oz bar.

Soap and beauty bars differ primarily in their composition and how they are regulated. Soap is made from natural fats or oils combined with an alkali, and it must meet specific FDA criteria to be labeled as such, while beauty bars, often referred to as "syndets," are synthetic detergents that may contain various ingredients and do not meet the same regulatory definition.
