I have this one, got it on sale for $1049 a few weeks ago. This thing looks so good in person that it literally gets me excited to work every time I walk into my office. Highly recommend it, also it's BASICALLY SILENT even while gaming in my experience
This is a good point, you could probably pull the 4060TI out, sell it, and still have a fully functioning computer
Also I confirmed on a Best Buy Q&A that this has a 600W gold PSU in case any of the 5000 series RTX cards that are about to drop are compatible w/ that
Both machines are a really good deal. I almost went with the costco as well and would not blame anyone who did. Its $100 cheaper and twice the RAM.
I did pick up the OMEN though and I will say its a very nice machine. Not used much yet but its very elegant looking and completely quiet if they matters to you. I know one complaint I saw in Ibuypower/Cyberpower reviews were noisy fans. Don't know about MSI, not enough reviews/info that I could find. Also I just do not trust Intel right now with all their chip problems.
That's just me personally. They may be perfectly fine and you do get extra warranty at Costco, etc. So both I think are really good buys. Its more personal preference I think.
i realize the 8700g is a bigger number the the 7700 x, but it looks like it benchmarks lower from the googling i'm doing, and everything else seems the same? Is there a subtle difference i'm missing here or something wrong with 7700x not captured by benchmarks?

This one has a better graphics card than Costco. 4060 ti vs 4060
