Prime Day this was $391
Then subsequent sales with promo codes were between $419-$438
Now we are at $399.
With the Delta 3 out, the regular recurring sale price should be $350 for this. The price for this old model should be falling consistently, not fluctuating
EcoFlow has been showing its true colors and people are finally waking up. Glad to see finally people are calling out EcoFlow shills like WranglerStar and City Prepping and the many others. The EcoFlow Community on reddit is a good place to start to get real world experiences with EcoFlow as both a company, and their products. When City Prepping says "EcoFlow is the best" , people need to remember they are being paid to do so. They are paid via endless free product year after year. And their "production costs" are reimbursed by EcoFlow for doing the review and low and behold, City Prepping always choses EcoFlow as #1 whenever he does a comparison review. In summary, a paid shill.
EcoFlow as a company is based in Shenzhen China. They have a distribution presence in the US, a building where they receive and ship from, and an office. However support is all from overseas. And it shows. I get people don't like that Jackery and Goal Zero are more expensive, but they are better designed products and the companies are US-based. The don't play nonsense spec games like with EcoFlow's "X-Boost" and other garbage, and the brands are used by actual professionals and not professionally paid shills. You can call up Jackery or Goal Zero and speak to an American customer support person during business hours. If you have a legitimate problem with an EcoFlow product, you'll be dealing with bot-style responses for weeks before getting a warranty RMA exchange done. Outfits like the US Forest Service which exclusively use Jackery as a poster mentioned in another thread, do not have time to deal with crap like that. They just need something like that works and the support to back it up

They also have extremely sketchy ways of doing business. Sending out fake shipping labels when they haven't even ordered the units from China yet, and then repeatedly assuring you it's on its way when it hasn't shipped. iirc it had been at least six weeks when I finally cancelled mine. Not a company I would in any way trust.

There is also one major difference: fan noise and temperature.
I had the D3P for two days. Yes, the fans were quiet, but the unit would overheat. 1500W AC charging without inverter load would get the temperature up to 113F. Discharging at 1500W would shut down due to overheat at 20%. To make matters worse, in the overheat state the fans would barely be running since inverter was not running. So to recover from overheat would take several hours. Even running a small 200W average load would get it up to 95F.
Maybe they can fix this issue in firmware, but I'm wary what others have said about the pack being sealed and subpar thermal design. I ended up returning the unit to Wellbots (both Wellbots and Ecoflow agreed it was defective). Currently waiting for a good deal on a D2 under $400.
If not for the alternator charger and its ability to fast charge both to and from bulk 12V LiFePo4, I would be going with a different brand. The other brands' car chargers can fast charge from 12V but not go the other direction.

I've been happy with Ecoflow to date.

I think both options are good.
Dealing with Costco and/or AllState eBay Warranty >>>>>>> EcoFlow itself
