EcoFlow playing pricing games with customers again

Prime Day this was $391
Then subsequent sales with promo codes were between $419-$438

Now we are at $399.

With the Delta 3 out, the regular recurring sale price should be $350 for this. The price for this old model should be falling consistently, not fluctuating
Yep they played that BS with me too on an Amazon deal. They made a FedEx label to satisfy the Amazon seller performance metrics. And it sat and sat. They also are known to play BS games with the trade in program. People have had EcoFlow hold onto their trade ins for months and only issue the gift cards once they were prodded half a dozen times.

EcoFlow has been showing its true colors and people are finally waking up. Glad to see finally people are calling out EcoFlow shills like WranglerStar and City Prepping and the many others. The EcoFlow Community on reddit is a good place to start to get real world experiences with EcoFlow as both a company, and their products. When City Prepping says "EcoFlow is the best" , people need to remember they are being paid to do so. They are paid via endless free product year after year. And their "production costs" are reimbursed by EcoFlow for doing the review and low and behold, City Prepping always choses EcoFlow as #1 whenever he does a comparison review. In summary, a paid shill.

EcoFlow as a company is based in Shenzhen China. They have a distribution presence in the US, a building where they receive and ship from, and an office. However support is all from overseas. And it shows. I get people don't like that Jackery and Goal Zero are more expensive, but they are better designed products and the companies are US-based. The don't play nonsense spec games like with EcoFlow's "X-Boost" and other garbage, and the brands are used by actual professionals and not professionally paid shills. You can call up Jackery or Goal Zero and speak to an American customer support person during business hours. If you have a legitimate problem with an EcoFlow product, you'll be dealing with bot-style responses for weeks before getting a warranty RMA exchange done. Outfits like the US Forest Service which exclusively use Jackery as a poster mentioned in another thread, do not have time to deal with crap like that. They just need something like that works and the support to back it up
Very good deal for a great power station. Also, for those concerned with how loud it can get, Noctua released some fans that are direct replacements.

I'm still looking for a Delta 2 extra battery but waiting until it gets below $200. But I'm thinking I may be better off getting a refurbished one on eBay with their 2 year warranty than dealing directly with Ecoflow.

Does anyone know if this offers DISABLE grid bypass like the 3 plus does?

Edited to say I want to disable grid bypass, and force the battery even when on AC

Been trying to figure that out. They left it pretty vague and looking around at the general response it would probably depend on your auditor should you get audited. I wish there was something black and white on this.
Do you have a link to 30% clean energy rebate info that says I can apply as a renter?

I did. That was a good price a few years ago. It worked fine until yesterday...back it goes to Costco.

They also have extremely sketchy ways of doing business. Sending out fake shipping labels when they haven't even ordered the units from China yet, and then repeatedly assuring you it's on its way when it hasn't shipped. iirc it had been at least six weeks when I finally cancelled mine. Not a company I would in any way trust.
They did that to me too, I email them ask for cancel, they did not want to cancel, they shipped item 2 days later after I ask for cancel and credit me $20, I email and told them I am not respond for any lost or stolen. They have to ask Fedex to ship back to them.

I bought this last year when it was for sale. It started out a nightmare because it came DOA. I had to go through the motions of tech support - send a video, try xyz. Finally, the guy said I should flash the firmware. I kind of blew up on them because that requires power, and I suspected they were trying to get rid of me, but I understand what firmware is. I was so mad, and my response was a little condescending. They responded with shipping a new one that is working great. I really like it, but it wasn't worth the hassle.

Got this during prime day earlier this year. So far it's been rock solid, but like many others I was given a fake shipment label and had a bunch of shipping "delays" that gave no indication the product would ever actually arrive (despite my credit card being charged immediately). It's hard to see ever voluntarily going through that experience with Amazon again (it's not their fault technically, though they do apparently allow vendors to falsify shipping information so that cards can be charged immediately).

Isn't it cheaper to buy two of these than 1 plus extra battery? Is there a downside?

Do you know if they're hard to swap out and will doing so invalidate the warranty?

Same experience here. Took forever to arrive.

But, it's been fine too. I own this and another EcoFlow (River series) and also comparable Bluettis.

I'd recommend both brands, though you have to know that the customer service on both is not great. But I've had no issues.

They do come with a 2 year eBay warranty, but the official refurbished from EcoFlow on eBay get the full 5-year EcoFlow warranty.

I hate to hear the bad experiences with Eco Flow. I bought the ECOFLOW RIVER 2 Max, 512Wh LiFePO4 Battery/1000W with the 110W portable folding solar panel in a great $400 combo deal from Amazon back in 2022. I've used it for two years with no problems and it was so handy during the 11 day, Helene power outage, that I was wanting to get a larger one that could replace my 6570W gas generator, so I could use my existing solar panel and it would be in the same family as the one I currently have. If I got a Jackery or Bluetti, would the inputs for the EcoFlow solar panel work with them, or is everyone proprietary?
