I don't think you will find this miter saw less expensive than this. Perhaps it will be bundled with a miter saw stand later on but if that happens it will still be more than this price.

This or the sliding Hercules from Harbor Freight for $299?

I assume the LED "shadow line" lights are of similar quality? The bonus with Dewalt is the name. The bonus with the Hercules is its sliding and maybe a better warranty.
