I grabbed two, one of them as a gift. After reading posts here I figured the batteries might be dead so I checked them and they were. Registered online, then had to call in because the batteries manufacture date would put them out of warranty but the purchase date was within warranty. The human that I talked to was very helpful and got it done painlessly. New batteries arrived in 10 days or so, was told to dispose of old batteries at home Depot

I tried with zipcodes far from mine (60091 and 91006) and it was also $49.97 so I figured it was nationwide...

I seem to recall last time one of my local stores didn't have the sale price until the following day...

Lucky, I just reached out again since I haven't heard anything from Ryobi support in a month since their email saying the batteries was determined to need replacing.

My unit wouldn't pump water from a bucket, but with the pressure of the hose was fine. Sent back to ryobi for repair, kept all of my accessories that came with it. They sent me a whole new tool only kit, so have double hoses and ends! Battery on mine worked fine.

Lots of battery issues and lack of support. Not going to jump on this one. Great deal though if you get a good set.

I'm in a couple Ryobi groups and most of these are coming with bad batteries but Ryobi will make it good and send you a new battery. They've been lying around for so long they will not charge. It's mainly an issue with the 2Ah battery.
