When Costco puts this on sale a couple times a year, I believe it's $13.99 for a 40oz bottle. So this Amazon deal with coupon is a little better price per ounce.

Not sure what I bought, but the coupon says I have used it the maximum number of times allowed (1). Must have been some other recent FP deal that used the same coupon.

Take a moment to check the ingredients list and steer clear of these products.
Your body will appreciate it in the long run.

1. Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)
Sodium Laureth Sulfate is a common surfactant used for its foaming and cleansing properties. While effective at removing dirt and oils, SLES can be problematic for several reasons:
Skin Irritation: SLES can strip natural oils from the skin, leading to dryness and irritation, especially for individuals with sensitive skin.
Ethylene Oxide Contamination: During production, SLES may become contaminated with ethylene oxide, a potentially carcinogenic compound.
2. Fragrance (Parfum)
The "fragrance" listed in the ingredient list is often a catch-all term for a mix of undisclosed chemicals. Concerns include:
Allergens: Some fragrance compounds are known allergens, which can cause reactions like redness, itching, or rash.
Endocrine Disruption: Certain synthetic fragrances may act as endocrine disruptors, interfering with hormone function.
Lack of Transparency: Manufacturers are not required to disclose the specific chemicals used in fragrances, leaving consumers in the dark about what they are applying to their skin.
3. Parabens (e.g., Methylparaben, Propylparaben)
Parabens are commonly used as preservatives to extend shelf life by preventing microbial growth. However, they come with potential health risks:
Hormonal Effects: Parabens mimic estrogen, which has raised concerns about their potential to contribute to hormonal imbalances and an increased risk of breast cancer.
Environmental Impact: Parabens can accumulate in marine ecosystems, posing risks to aquatic life.
4. DMDM Hydantoin
This ingredient is a formaldehyde-releasing preservative.
Skin Sensitivity: It can cause irritation or allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
Formaldehyde Concerns: Prolonged exposure to formaldehyde, even in small amounts, has been linked to cancer and other health issues.
5. Artificial Colors (e.g., Red 40, Yellow 5)
Artificial dyes are often added to enhance the product's visual appeal but serve no functional purpose in skincare.
Allergic Reactions: Synthetic dyes can cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in some users.
Potential Carcinogenicity: Some studies have linked specific dyes to health risks, including cancer.

let me just add this is NOT a premium body wash it's complete trash

my girl and I both used it, both have different skin types and ethnicities, both had bad itching, dry flaky skin

thought Costco was selling dupes due to all the glowing reviews so bought a bottle from a local store - same shit

this is probably the worst body wash ive used in my entire life, i would never buy it, if someone dropped a case of 10000 i wouldnt even bring it to the homeless shelter, no shower is better than one with RainTrash from Neutrogena
