It appears that Amazon has made significant changes to Subscribe & Save. In the past, once my monthly delivery has shipped, I was then able to order new S&S items for the following month (on my regular delivery date), with a discount of up to 15% . Now the option to order for the following month appears to be gone, as is the 15% S&S discount on the first delivery of each subscription. Has anyone else noticed these changes, and has anyone seen any definitive announcement from Amazon on exactly what has changed with S&S?

One significant change as far as the default shipping date. Now for the first few S&S items you want to add after your latest shipment comes, in the S&S box they default to standard shipping dates with 5% off unless you manually click on "change" on the right side of the product page. See att...
It also seems that once you've added 2-3 items to your next shipment, they tend to default to the next monthly shipping date for your S&S. You have to watch them every time now because it is not a pattern you can count on.
I don't recall any announcement or email notice about the default date algorithm situation. It threw me off until I figured it out.
I believe there has been some discussion here about the percentage caps they reduced for certain items, but don't recall an announcement from Amazon.

Yeah, also if you change the delivery date in the delivery month, they will update the price to match the current price of the item.
I ordered several items with S&S on black Friday, but I had to change the delivery date the next month, and EVERYTHING that I ordered on Black Friday lost its discount... I was really frustrated.
I advise you to cancel every item you order after it has delivered, because I guarantee the price will update. You can also just check the order price before it is delivered via S&S the next month. I feel like a lot of people don't realize this happens, and Amazon is making bank off it.
