While OPs post is a slick deal the product itself tastes nothing like butter. I bought a can and shared it with friends and family. No one thought the taste was acceptable. No shade at all on OP. Just a heads up in case you were unfamiliar with the product.
It actually tasted sourish and the consistency was grainy despite following package directions. I was disappointed. I only tried this brand of butter powder so I can't comment on other brands. I wound up throwing it out.
FYI this has a 10 year shelf life, not 30 years like most freeze dried foods.

What did it taste like? More like watered down milk or something?

You aren't going to ever get 30 years on anything high in fat. Heck, even within 10 years the data will go rancid and it'll taste horrible. Realistically, you have 3-5 years at most

They claim 10 years, but they may have all kinds of bad tasting preservatives or something else going one. Maybe it's 3-5 years to taste ok, but 10 years before components turn into poison.

This product hardly had any preservatives actually it says vitamin C and E for preservatives which sounds a lot like no preservatives to me.

It is so very easy to quickly skim, and misread this product's name. I guess it's intentional they put a picture right there. My goodness.

This is only good for survival. If there is something bad enough to shut down the food supply. It's not meant to taste good.

And I do agree it would be best to replace every three years or so. It's basically $6.66 of annual starvation insurance.

I can't comment on the taste of this specific product, but it's more for mixing into recipes than just using as a butter replacement on toast or whatever you slather in butter.

36oz, 7140 calories. So we'd need about...2 cans of we wanted to make a typical Paula Deen recipe during a zombie apocalypse, right?

This kind of product is also great for backpackers who want to make their own meal kits, like myself. This specific one... no, pass.
