Depends on the type of candle. Soy wax candles have much less soot/particulate matter and less VOCs compared to paraffin candles. By definition, anything that has a scent has VOCs, but not all are equally harmful and/or are emitted at toxic concentrations


EDIT: with that said, this is a "soy wax blend", which could mean anywhere from 1-100% soy wax. Unfortunately, candles and their labeling are minimally regulated
They smell good and look pretty.

Honestly most things in your home will emit VOCs. Look at the materials used in your couch, rugs, glue backing the carpet, mattress, etc…
