Game reviewed extremely well and should have won Game of the Year to be honest. So this might be the lowest price it will be for a long while.

I won't disagree with you there. All games will drop in prices sooner or later. It's just a matter of when. Atlus, who has a track record of consistently selling good games that sells well barely go on sale. Look at Persona 5. It wasn't until Persona 5 Royal came out that there was a consistent sale of Persona 5 for cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same case with Metaphor.

That is incorrect. You could get a copy of Persona 5 PS4 for $12 digital or $15 physical BEFORE Royal ever came out.

I want to play this game but I'm trying hard to stop buying games on sale until I am really ready to play it. Backlog so big right now. Games usually always go down over time. Chances are by the time I'm ready to play it, I can get it cheaper.

I got this and Stellar Blade for $30 each with the AMEX offer. I personally would've paid $50 for it if I didn't already have a huge backlog of good games to play. But it's a great game, and I think it's worth the full price.

Nah. A text reading simulator should never win GOTY. Overrated game just like the Persona and Yakuza series.

There are far superior games this year like FF7 Rebirth, Astro Bot, Stellar Blade, Helldivers 2 Silent Hill 2, Space Marine 2 and Black Myth Wukong.
