$52.46 at Grainger [grainger.com]. The stated Amazon list price seems pretty accurate.

$35 regular price at Lowe's: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Klein-To...5014363355

IME Grainger prices are usually higher than most other outlets.

That's fair, but Amazon specifically defines what they mean by the list price and distinguishes that from the prevailing market price.
The List Price is the suggested retail price of a new product as provided by a manufacturer, supplier, or seller. Except for books, Amazon will display a List Price if the product was purchased by customers on Amazon or offered by other retailers at or above the List Price in at least the past 90 days. List prices may not necessarily reflect the product's prevailing market price.

Indeed...based on a google search of that model, most places have it around that price...ones with a crimper and etc costs more...these wouldn't be around 50

Milwaukee's 9" with a crimper is always $25 at HD. Yes I tried them out and am switching all my electrical tools to MW. They work the same but MW don't rust like kleins

Own a pair and they are great but "Spring-Loaded, Self-Opening Action" ? Not familiar with this action.

I'm a big Milwaukee power tool fan, but when it comes to hand tools, Milwaukee is my no-no.

That's the price I remember. $50 is probably the new "inflation" number they put on it to make $25 sound like a bargain. I don't think I ever paid more than $30 but that was probably 2 years ago. Everybody's jumping on the inflation boat.

I have a couple pairs of these or pliers that look very similar, if not these. Definitely get some pretty decent leverage and torque with them. One pair seems to have chipped at some point over the years, presumably cutting a wire I shouldn't have.

Not a MW fan. They are just OK. Even Makita hand tools are better and it's less well known brand.

Best pliers I've used in last 40 years. These are what telephone linemen use in construction and I already have two pair or I would not hesitate to buy at this price. They are extremely strong up to cutting 6.6M support strand when placed on concrete and hammered with a three pound hammer, been there and done that because we could not find bolt cutters.
