Yes. I have long thumbs and I am able to gain much better control with them. If I don't use a pro controller that has modular sticks, I use these.

A little warning: on some of my older Xbox 360 controllers that have aging plastic, it's chewed at the materials a little while installing/removing them, so be warned by my personal experience.
Yes. They are great to be able to raise your sticks for comfort and accuracy. I'd say give a set a try at this price.

I use the non clip ones on my PlayStation Portal and PSVR2 Sense controllers. Work great, have plenty of grip, and no issues with them falling off.

Just a side note, I bought the cheap Kontrol Freeks from aliexpress. I assumed they were knockoffs but they work perfectly fine. If they are knock offs I can't really tell any difference.

Yes, I've tried a few different heights and they suck and don't help. I guess it depends on the player.

These def help with control comfort and fine tuning movement... but with the moment exerted on the contact points in the controller... u'll get drift happening quicker and ultimately break down the thumbstick hardware mechanics.
