Why the bikes? Can't someone get a DUI riding a bike?

Bike rentals are good all week, though after spending 3 weeks with extended family I get wanting to be day drunk

"Free rides"

tax payer funded.

car owners shouldn't be responsible for buses/rail they never use and they should certainly not be on the hook for "free rides"

If you actually live in LA you'd realize the roads can't handle the amount of cars we have. You are at green lights and only a few cars can go before it turns red. This isn't sustainable

Every person taking Metro up on the free ride is a person not in traffic, or a person not driving drunk and endangering you. You should be overjoyed Metro is doing this.

Besides, the driving equivalent of "pay for what you use" is tolls for every freeway and congestion pricing for high-traffic areas. If you really don't want cross-subsidy, then be logically consistent and send Metro a check every time you hop on the 405.

Ya, and all those roads, highways, bridges, road signs, and traffic signals are not tax payer funded. Embarrassing post.

It's miserable and unfortunately, I'm stuck there for the time being.
