Besides, the driving equivalent of "pay for what you use" is tolls for every freeway and congestion pricing for high-traffic areas. If you really don't want cross-subsidy, then be logically consistent and send Metro a check every time you hop on the 405.

Ya, and all those roads, highways, bridges, road signs, and traffic signals are not tax payer funded. Embarrassing post.
