I didn't really care for this. Call of Cthulhu and Still Wakes the Deep are much more engaging Lovecraft games.

Judging by the game, it's very similar to their Sherlock Holmes games.

One must be a masochist to play this.

I sank several hours into it. But at some point you start getting killed mercilessly and the problem is, you get respawned half a mile away from the house so you have to run for a minute or two in the fog looking for the place you got killed like a fool... rinse and repeat X forever.

The game didn't have any "on the spot" saves. Unless they added them at some point..

It's unplayable unless you're one of those people who plays literally anything.
