Not true. I was just able to order online pick up in store. 2 stores showed not available to order online. Another one nearby showed 2 available and let me place the order. Lowes is so weird.

Very YMMV but select Tractor Supply stores have FAN ONLY for $74.99 in-store pickup ONLY. Good if you're already into the DeWalt ecosystem but just $25 off.
Try 30286 for example.
It's worth a shot maybe. It shows 4 available for pickup there, if you're in that area of Georgia.
I didn't try many other zip codes.

It is the exactl same fan, just a kit vs bare tool, but not a kit. Dce512 is the fan. The dce512p1, p =5ah battery, 1 is quantity of batteries. dce512b, but denotes bare tool

Any intelligent person can figure out the one from Tractor Supply is a Bare Tool,while the one on Lowes comes with a battery and charger.
