It's often on "clearance" or rollback at Walmart for around 30-35, I've purchased about 3 around that price over the years. $25 is great. It works really well for a quick smoothie, pulverizing hard cheeses, and dry foods. My roommates often overfill it, especially with whey protein which froths up and goes beyond the full line, which then pushes the liquid under the gasket leaving opportunity for mold and smells. The motor makes a clearly different noise when it's overfilled or over-expanded so it's easy to avoid if you care. The gasket is removable so it can be cleaned, and we put the blender top in the dishwasher without problems.

Bought it in November, using it 5 to 10 times a day. Never made me disappointed. Ima to buy one more as spare in case if this breaks
They have been making this for several years. I have one and used it A LOT. But since upgraded to a larger ninja. Kinda wish this existing model took larger cups because it's hugely quieter.

Would you mind sharing the one that's quieter? Thank you!
This was the same price they had it for on Black Friday, I bought one then to have at work... it's doing a great job. I'm hoping it holds up as well as the similar one I bought at Walmart on Black Friday back in 2012... that thing is still holding up well, I use it about once or twice a week to make a smoothie.
This is a great device which I have been using from past 1 year+. Would strongly recommend getting the Allstate warranty with it as the blade stopped working and fluid leaked into the blender from the jar, and Allstate refunded me the full amount of the device as a cheque. Got a new one this Black Friday.
Make sure your intended use fits a (relatively) paltry 16oz cup.
My protein shake loads use a minimum of a 24oz cup which is a more common size.
By the time you buy additional larger cups the saving disappears compared to, for example, the 600W nutribullet which has a 24oz cup for only a little more.
(I'll stick my neck out, as someone who researched these recently, that Ninja and Nutribullet are equally good brands here)

Bought it in November and love it. We have a big Vitamix but I prefer my smaller Ninja Fit. It's easier to see how much I'm putting in and easy to clean. If I had to do it over again I'd get a 32oz one instead just because I usually make 2 in the morning. I use frozen fruit from Walmart, strawberry, cherry, blueberry mix is my favorite. Typically a half of a banana, little bit of low cal OJ and oat milk. Put some pea protein powder in there too. Sometimes I use frozen avocado or spinach but not too much. It's so good, I've had the Vitamix for over a year and hardly ever use it because it's just a pain. I use the Ninja almost daily and it's just so easy. Just needs a bigger cup!

They are saying this one is quieter than the larger one they upgraded to; this post is the quieter one.
I think they are different model. One is QB3001SS, the other is QB2900SSBF. I can not tell the difference. I wonder if other people can
