Two-wheels are sturdier. If you look at the bags that the crew carry, they are usually two-wheel type.
Spinners all the way. You want something that wanders off at the slightest slope. No greater excitement than finding your luggage out in traffic because it didn't stay where you put it! The smaller volume teaches minimalism, and the broken wheels give you a weekend fix-it project. Also, the price per wheel is way better when you have more of them.
Sitting here at the gate for a flight to Hong Kong, so I checked - crew all have 2 wheelers. Personally, I far prefer spinners. Just providing you with some scientific data.

Great price. Coupon applies to only one bag. Any other way to get free shipping?

I ended up buying two to get free shipping, even though the extra discount was only on one. $100 plus tax for two.

Yes, the coupon applies to only one bag and the only way to avoid shipping charges is to have the total cart value greater than $99.

isn't a 22 inch too big for a carry-on?

22" is the usual carry-on limit. Some of these bags are a bit larger than that when you add the wheel, but I've never had any problem with it. I have a Travelpro with 2 wheels and it is my favorite carryon.

Thanks. Picked up the 22 and the 29 to get free shipping. The 29 was $69. Coupon split between the two.

Wow. I assumed any current bag is a spinner and didn't realize they still made it without spinning wheels!

Not necessarily better. Pros and cons with each.

Spinners are for old geezers and the uncoordinated who can't manage a small 22" with only 2 wheels.

Sure, spinners are more maneuverable, but how much maneuverability do you really need? You can always just push it with your foot in any direction or…gasp…pick it up.

2 wheels are sturdier and maximize your carryon space (without being the asshole whose spinner wheels prevent the bin from closing).

Yes, without a doubt, Spinner bags are easier to walk with; just as easy to get into the bin;and are overall far more convenient, andpractical

For a carryon I don't care if it's 2 wheels or 4 spinners. I do like spinners on large luggage though, it makes it easier to solo-push multiple large pieces.
